Ni yw Criw Cymraeg

We are Criw Cymraeg.  Our goal is to persuade our community to use more Welsh and encourage them to learn more about our Welsh history and culture.

To achieve this we have introduced ‘Ymradrodd yr Wythnos’ in assembly and will post it online each week. We will be taking part in a Welsh playground games workshop in January and will teach the games we learn to our classes.

Criw Cymraeg will also be checking that classrooms have a Welsh area, that Helpwr Heddiw is happening daily and that both adults and pupils are using Welsh phrases throughout the day.

We had a visit from Seren and Sbarc on the first day of term.  They are the Welsh Language Superheroes.  We asked them questions in Welsh, we sang songs together and they danced for us!
